Waster bins are supplied as part of an arranged service that includes the collection and appropriate management of the contents. Depending on the selected service, this may involve disposal, recycling or another suitable processing method. Bins cannot be hired solely as stage props, display items, storage containers or equipment for a photoshoot or production. ### What Is Included With a Waster Bin? A Waster bin is provided as part of a commercial waste or recycling service. The arrangement generally includes: - supply of the appropriate bin - an agreed collection schedule - collection of the bin’s contents - disposal, recycling or appropriate processing - removal of the bin when the service ends The exact inclusions depend on the waste stream and selected service. ### Can I Hire a Bin for a Stage Production or Photoshoot? No. Waster does not hire empty bins for use as props, set decorations or display items. If no waste will be placed in the bin and no collection or processing service is required, Waster cannot provide the bin. You may need to contact a theatre-prop, event-equipment or general equipment-hire company instead. ### Does Waster Provide Bins for Short-Term Events? Waster may provide [short-term bin services for eligible events](https://waster.com.au/bin-hire-for-events/), but the bins must form part of an arranged waste or recycling collection service. For example, an event organiser may require bins for: - general waste - bottles and cans - cardboard - food waste - other eligible event waste streams Availability depends on the location, waste type, required bin sizes, event dates and collection schedule. ### Can I Book a Bin for Only Two Weeks? A short-term service may be considered when genuine waste or recycling collection is required. However, Waster does not provide a two-week bin-only rental where the container will be used without collection.
