[Charity Donation](https://help.waster.com.au/getting-started?hsLang=en-au#charity-donation) # Plant a Tree with Your Booking: Waster’s Partnership with Greenfleet ## Support Australian reforestation and carbon offset projects β€” Waster matches every tree you donate. ### 🌱 Our Partnership with Greenfleet: Plant a Tree with Your Booking As part of Waster’s commitment to sustainability, we’re proud to partner with **Greenfleet** β€” a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to restoring native forests in Australia. When you book a waste or recycling service through our online portal, you’ll have the opportunity to support reforestation and carbon offset projects by planting a tree. --- #### 🌳 How It Works at Checkout - When completing your booking, simply **tick the box** to donate **$10 to Greenfleet**. - For every donation, **Waster will match it $ for $** β€” meaning **two trees will be planted** for each donation (maximum of one tree per booking). - The donation will appear on your **first invoice** as a separate charitable item. - Please note: there is **no GST payable** on the donation. --- #### 🀝 About Greenfleet - Greenfleet is a registered Australian charity (ACNC) with **Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)** status. - Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted more than **8.7 million native trees** across **425 biodiverse forests** in Australia and New Zealand. - Their projects: - Protect the land with **100-year Carbon Agreements**. - Focus on **biodiversity** by planting native species. - Include **pre-planting preparation and ongoing maintenance** to maximise survival and environmental benefits. --- #### 🌏 Why Waster is Partnering with Greenfleet At Waster, we know that waste management and recycling are key parts of reducing carbon emissions β€” but we also want to go further. By partnering with Greenfleet, we give our customers the chance to: - Offset part of their **carbon footprint**. - Support long-term **climate action** projects in Australia. - Make a **tangible, local impact** through tree planting. To date, Waster customers have helped offset **over 70 tonnes of COβ‚‚** through this initiative. --- #### βœ… Quick Summary - **Donation**: $10 at checkout. - **Waster matches your donation** = 2 trees planted. - **Appears on first invoice** (no GST). - **Charity partner**: Greenfleet, planting native Australian trees for over 25 years. --- #### πŸ“Œ More Information You can read more about Greenfleet’s work on their official site: Greenfleet Australia. -
