Emergency Grease Trap Pumping
A grease trap overflow needs to be dealt with immediately.
A grease trap overflow needs to be dealt with immediately. Foul odours, wastewater backing up into sinks and potential health hazards can shut down your kitchen fast.
Contact your current provider first
If you already have a grease trap service provider, contact them first. As your scheduled provider they will have your site details on file, know your trap size and access requirements, and should be able to respond at standard rates. Arranging an emergency through your existing supplier is almost always faster and cheaper than bringing in a new provider.
What about Waster?
Waster focuses on scheduled, ongoing grease trap maintenance rather than emergency call-outs. If you are not already a Waster customer, we are generally not in a position to assist with emergency pump-outs at short notice — and if we can arrange it, additional fees will apply due to the cost of rescheduling existing runs.
If you are an existing Waster customer experiencing an overflow, contact us on 1300 927 837 and we will do our best to help.
The best way to avoid emergencies
Most grease trap overflows are preventable. Sticking to your scheduled maintenance, keeping fats and oils out of drains, and monitoring your trap performance will significantly reduce your risk.
