[πŸ“± Using the App](https://help.waster.com.au/app-digital-tools?hsLang=en-au#using-the-app) # How to Report a Missed Service ## If your bin was not collected as scheduled, you can quickly report it through the Waster App. This allows us to investigate and arrange a catch-up if required. #### βœ… Step-by-Step Process 1. **Go to Dashboard** – Log into your [Waster App](https://waster.app/dashboard) account. 2. **Select Services** – On the sidebar, click **Services**, located directly under the Dashboard section. 3. **View your services** – You’ll see a list of your active services. 4. **Click Report Missed Service** – Choose the service you want to report. 5. **Select Report Missed Service** – A Waster Form will pop up with three options: - Request Extra Service - Cancel A Service - Report Missed Service Select **Report Missed Service** again. 6. **Fill out the form** – Provide details about the missed pickup (e.g. bin type, date, and any access notes). 7. **Click Submit** – Once submitted, your request will be logged and Waster will follow up. --- #### ❌ Common Misunderstandings - **β€œDrivers will come back automatically.”** – A report must be lodged for us to arrange a catch-up. - **β€œI can report it verbally to the driver.”** – All reports must go through the app for tracking. - **β€œIt will be fixed immediately.”** – Catch-ups depend on truck availability, so allow for scheduling. --- #### Quick Reference | **Step** | **Action** | | --- | --- | | Step 1 | Log into Dashboard | | Step 2 | Select Services under Dashboard | | Step 3 | View your services list | | Step 4 | Click Report Missed Service | | Step 5 | Select Report Missed Service in the Waster Form | | Step 6 | Fill out the form with details | | Step 7 | Submit and await follow-up | --- #### Best Practices Summary 1.
