Although we work with a network of independent collection operators, Waster remains responsible for managing your account and coordinating the services we provide. This means customers enjoy many of the benefits associated with waste brokers, including competitive pricing, broad coverage and access to multiple waste services, while dealing with one waste management company. ### Does Waster own the collection trucks? Waster works with independent waste collection companies that undertake collections on our behalf. Using collection partners enables us to offer competitively priced services across multiple locations without relying on a single fleet. Regardless of which operator completes your collection, Waster remains your point of contact for the services you purchase from us. ### Who manages my waste collection service? Waster manages your customer account and coordinates your waste services, including: - Arranging scheduled collections - Handling service enquiries and changes - Organising additional collections where available - Managing billing and customer support - Coordinating service issues with collection partners - Managing relevant operational risk assessment processes You do not need to manage separate arrangements with each local collection company. ### Is Waster insured? Yes. Waster maintains $20 million in insurance coverage, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the relevant policies. We also use formal risk assessment procedures, including senior management review and sign-off. Our objective is to manage waste services professionally, with appropriate attention to operational safety and risk. ### Does using Waster remove my business's legal responsibilities? No. Businesses may retain their own obligations under applicable workplace safety, environmental and heavy vehicle legislation. For example, Chain of Responsibility duties under the Heavy Vehicle National Law cannot simply be transferred to another business through a contract. Waster's role is to manage the waste services we provide, coordinate collection partners and apply our risk management procedures. ### What are the benefits of using Waster rather than a traditional broker?
