How Waster keeps pricing competitive and fair

At Waster, we believe small and medium businesses deserve excellent service and competitive pricing — without being tied down by restrictive, multi-year contracts.

That’s why we offer both a Service Guarantee and a Price Match Guarantee for our commercial bin collection services.

Our Service Guarantee

  • All Waster agreements are on a flexible 30-day rolling basis.

  • Either party may cancel the agreement at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice.

  • All invoices, including the final invoice, must be paid in full prior to bin removal.

Bin removal fees

  • If a customer cancels within the first three months of bin delivery, a $199 + GST removal fee per bin applies.

  • If cancellation is due to poor service or service unreliability by Waster, no removal fee will be charged.

  • After three months from bin delivery, no bin removal fee applies.

Service faults guarantee

  • If there are clear service faults within the first three months and you cancel, Waster will not charge the bin collection fee for that period.

This gives customers confidence that they will never pay for poor or undelivered service.

Our Price Match Guarantee

  • We will match any written or emailed “like-for-like” quote for commercial bin collection services.

  • Customers must also provide the competitor’s Terms and Conditions, so we can confirm exactly what the offer entails.

  • This ensures the comparison is fair and accurate, covering all inclusions and exclusions.

What Counts as “Like for Like”?

For a competitor quote to be valid for price matching, it must cover the total cost of service, not just the headline pickup rate. This includes:

  • Bin pickup/collection charge

  • Bin delivery fee

  • Rentals and site fees

  • Energy surcharges, environmental fees, and waste levies

  • Weight allowances included in the pickup fee (and any overweight charges if bins exceed that allowance)

  • Payment-related surcharges, such as credit card or processing fees

  • Any other applicable service charges

We only match pricing based on a flexible 30-day rolling agreement. We do not match against restrictive multi-year lock-in contracts.
