What’s Included in Pricing

At Waster, our goal is to provide low-cost, transparent, and flexible waste services. We often hear customers ask:

“What exactly is included in Waster’s pricing, and are there any hidden extras?”

Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s covered in your standard service fees — and the limited cases where extra charges may apply.

Your quoted service price already includes:

✅ Bin delivery (no delivery fees).
✅ Bin rental (when collections are once a month or more).
✅ Bin collection.
✅ Disposal and recycling charges.
✅ Environmental levies and compliance costs.
✅ Bin maintenance and repair.
✅ No exit fees after the first three months (only a removal fee if cancelled in the first 3 months).

This means when you see our pricing online, you can be confident that the price you see is the price you’ll pay.

We only charge bin rentals if bins are collected less than once per month.

For example, confidential paper bins on a 2-monthly or 3-monthly schedule.
In these cases, a rental of $19.95 + GST per bin, per month is invoiced.
In months when a collection occurs, your invoice will show both the rental fee and the collection fee.

For all other services (weekly, fortnightly, monthly), bin rental is already included.

Grease trap cleaning is priced differently:

For general waste bins, pricing includes disposal up to an agreed weight category.

If bins are heavier than the included allowance, excess weight charges will apply.
This ensures fairness, as overweight bins cost more to process and dispose of.

Skip bins are different from regular scheduled bins:

Separate disposal charges apply, based on the type and weight of waste placed in the skip.
Customers will see both the hire fee for the skip and the disposal cost on their invoice.

We offer volume-based discounts:

This means larger sites save more per service.

Unlike some other providers, we do not charge for:

❌ “Environmental fees” added on top of service charges.
❌ Fuel levies or surcharges.
❌ Ongoing admin or “account keeping” fees.
❌ Hidden increases — our prices are reviewed annually (1 July) with one month’s notice.
