Viewing Services & Schedules in the App

The Waster App makes it easy to check your active services and collection schedules. With a few clicks, you can see exactly when each bin will be collected, what services you have on-site, and any upcoming changes. Here’s how to view and manage your schedules in the app.

βœ… Accessing Your Services

  1. Log in to the Waster App via waster.app/dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Services tab on your dashboard.

  3. Here, you’ll see a list of all your active services, including:

    • General waste

    • Cardboard recycling

    • Commingled recycling

    • Organics (food and garden)

    • Sanitary or sharps disposal

    • Grease trap servicing

Each service shows the bin size, type, and pickup frequency.

βœ… Viewing Your Collection Schedule

  • Go to the Collection Schedule page (also accessible via waster.com.au/waste-collection-schedule).

  • Enter your site details or click on the service you want to check.

  • The schedule displays your upcoming pickup days, plus any adjustments for:

    • Public holidays

    • Weather-related delays

    • Special service requests

βœ… Why This Matters

  • Plan ahead – know when bins will be emptied to avoid overflow.

  • Avoid confusion – check exact days for multi-service sites.

  • Stay updated – see notifications for holiday changes or service suspensions.

  • Track performance – confirm collections are happening as scheduled.

❌ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Not checking holiday updates – your collection day may shift slightly.

  • Assuming all bins are collected together – different waste streams can have different pickup days.

  • Forgetting to check multiple sites – if you manage more than one location, schedules may vary.

Best Practices Summary

  1. Check your collection schedule weekly to stay ahead.

  2. Remember that not all bins are collected on the same day.

  3. Look out for app alerts on holidays or delays.

  4. Use the Services tab to confirm which bins you’re paying for.

Conclusion: Stay on Top of Collections

With the Waster App, you can view your services and collection schedules anytime. This means fewer surprises, less chance of overflow, and smoother waste management for your business.
